Fish & Chips Made with Trata on Ice Anchovies
    Ingredients
  • 1 package of frozen TRATA on ice anchovy fillets 400 gr
  • 400 gr of fine semolina
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
PREPARATION
Preparation Time:20 minutes

Allow the anchovies to reach room temperature. Sprinkle them with salt and dip them in the semolina. Fry them in a deep frying pan for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. You can turn each fish over using a fork. Take care to use as many fish as fit easily in your frying pan: you should not squeeze them together. When they are done, place them on absorbent paper and continue with the rest, until they are all ready. Serve with French fries and grilled hot pepper. You can accompany them with lemon juice and a sauce that you can make by mixing mayonnaise, dill weed, and pickled cucumbers.
