Stuffed red peppers with tuna TRATA
    Ingredients
  • 1 can of tuna in water TRATA
  • 8 red peppers
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 8 tbsps rice
  • 1 chopped garlic glove
  • 200 gr chopped tomato
  • 100 gr finely chopped parsley
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
PREPARATION
Preparation Time:1 hour

Wash and dry the peppers. Cut the stem, almost all of it, not completely. Pre-heat oven at 180o C. Prepare the stuffing. Put 2 tbsp olive oil, the onion and the garlic in a deep pan, add the salt and sauté gently until the onion becomes soft and translucent. Add the tomato and parsley and cook for another 10 minutes. Add the tuna and stir gently. Stuff the peppers and place them in a baking pan one next to another. Drizzle some olive oil. Add 200 gr warm water, cover with baking foil and bake for 60 minutes or until the rice softens. Serve at room temperature.
